1989 Second Studio ?

The second studio option had once again raised it's head.

Over the years the funding for a second studio was never realized into anything which could ever be used as a full transmission studio.

We had various listening facilities created, many abortive attempts but nothing tangible. The previous fund raising for the radio appeal in the previous years and the purchase of the new professional broadcast mixer had spurred us onto the notion, we should have two studio's with the same equipment in each, so that training and broadcasting would be easy.

After some PR exercises with the Sunninghill Fuel Allotment Trust, we were by September 1989 ready to fully equip a much needed second studio.

Below the last photo's of the area which were to be modified to make way for the studio.
