Staff Newsletter Reports:-
The grand draw fails to raise enough to transfer funds to the appeal, despite excellent prizes. A few presenters left after the charity night.

A special leaflet is to be produced and posted through letter boxes.( Record Donations )

A special records donation tape is in the studio Emi unit will be handed over on the 2nd November.

A new style sweatshirt is to be produced.

12th

Broadcast frequency announced to us from Wireless Workshop.

Kingston Hospital Radio Visit Heatherwood: Patient donation of £5.

19th

League of Friends meeting: application for loan for new mixer granted: £3000.

24th

November 1987

Staff Newsletter Reports:-
No new fundraising events in the pipeline. EMI unit will not be handed over this month.

The station has it's broadcast frequency but is waiting for a suitable moment before announcing it to the press.

The new design for the sweatshirts with the frequency receives no support from the presenters.

Windsor express article sponsors and support from Radio 210. Patient donation of £2.

Collect new Chilton mixer.

League of friends meeting.

The newsletter this month was to be the last one until June 1988, this was due to commitments to other projects by the secretary.

The EMI unit is finally handed over to the hospital after many delays six months late but a great Christmas present:

Wireless workshop confirm commencement of installation of inductive loop by end of Jan 88.

Appeal Closed

The radio appeal initially did not have a finish date set.
As funds arrived and the year progressed it was decided that the appeal would close at the year end.

Press coverage of the appeal for sponsors to raise the final balance and confirmation local radio 210 will allow their service to be relayed when Radio Heatherwood is not broadcasting

Partridge Mixer

The impending move to AM had shown us that the Partridge mixer which had been brought some years earlier would not be up to the job.
We were looking to replace this with something a bit more rugged and reliable.

This is the only colour photo which exists of the mixer
